CETA and EDITA Association

Greetings from CSE and IT Department!!!

“Computer Experts and Technical Association” [CETA] and “Enthusiastic Doers of Information Technology Association” [EDITA] was established in the year of 2009. The CSE and IT established CETA and EDITA Student Associations respectively. They play a prominent role in all department and association activities. The Head and executive members of both the associations join hands together and organized technical events such as symposia, workshops, national and International conference and etc.  Associations are   well formed and follow the procedures and works for the technical development of student community. Every year, the association is inaugurated with introduction of Association Office Bearers. The office bearers include the selection of a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer and Executive Members from various years in the department. The association activities are under supervision and with proper guidance by the department Faculty who acts as an Association Coordinator. All the Events are proposed and organized with the proper approval of Head of the department and Principal. The activities are preplanned and included in the Department academic calendar also. The associations were ended for the academic year with valedictory function. This valediction includes the annual report of activities made in the particular year and appreciation and awards for students who excel in various activities in and around the college.

SYMPOSIO’15

We, the students of CSE and IT Department are happy to inform that for the past 6 years, the technical exposure of students have been exhibited through our association activities. As part of such activities, every year, technical symposium was organized and made as a grand success. We are stepping in this 7th remarkable academic year and we have planned to organize a technical symposium “SYMPOSIO’15” to collaborate the technology with the participants of various colleges in and around our nation. SYMPOSIO’15 is a team work of our association members under the guidance of Management, Principal and faculty members. To motivate participants, merit certificated and prizes will be awarded. We are looking for the at most participation and exhibition of different skills and innovative ideas from the participants with a presentable ending.

Event Description

Symposio’15 has six distinguished events.  Each event has certain constraints and conditions to be followed.  SYMPOSIO’15 events are:

Technical Event:

  • Paper Presentation
  • Project Presentation
  • Code Debugging
  • Technical Quiz

Non-Technical Event:

  • Gaming
  • Short film

 General Rules:

  • Participants must register themselves before 20th September, 2015.
  • Assemble in college campus 15 Minutes prior to registration imitation.
  • All participants should bring their college Identity Card.
  • Lunch will be provided for all participants. Good hospitality is our forte.
  • The participants must be in Formal dress code with shoes (No jeans / T-Shirts please).
  • Accommodation will be provided based on request.

For Paper Presentation:

Topics:

  • Recent trends on Cloud computing and Big Data
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Wireless Networking area
  • Blue Brain Technology
  • Open source technologies.
  • Other latest expertise technical topics are also welcomed.

Rules:

Limitation: Only 2 members per team

  • Technical Papers should be in IEEE format(Max. 12 pages)
  • Maximum slides per presentation should be 15.
  • Presentation time is limited to 4 mins.

Scrutinizing Procedure:   

  • Choosing the area of presentation.
  • Technical exposure in the paper.
  • Write up presentation skill and language presentation.

For Project Presentation: 

Limitation: 2-3 Members per team

  • The participant should bring their own kit and exhibit their project Presentation in their own cost.
  • Participant(s) name with Year, department and college name should be send along with Project Title     and Abstract of the project to the registration mail on or before 14th September, 2015.
  • The abstracts should be in Times New Roman with font size of 12p, 1.5 line spacing and in Justify alignment.
  • While presentation, the snapshots/output of your project should be submitted along with the project title.

Scrutinizing Procedure:  

  • Innovative approach.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Benefits to development of society.
  • Application and real-time wide usage of the project.

For Technical Quiz:

Limitation: 2 Members per team

Tech Quiz will test your technical and lateral thinking ability. Be prepared to face questions from every nook and corner of Computer Science and Technology. Get ready, be prepared and give this test your best shot.

For Code Debugging:

Limitation: Individual

Code Debugging contains two rounds.

Selection Round:-

  • Preliminary level Test – Technical.

 Final Round:-

  • The participants who are qualified in a preliminary level only allowed for final round.
  • Code will be given on the spot.
  • 15 Minutes for spotting the bug.
