BIOLUMINA FEST- 2024 – National Level Technical Symposium
The Biolumina Fest- 2024, National Level Technical Symposium was gladly organized by The Department of Biotechnology BIOSEL Association, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal on 23.03.2024 in ISDTP Seminar Hall. Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, Dr.P.Selvaraj, Principal and Dr. A.Jegan, Vice Principal of SCT gave their gracious presence in the symposium. Dr.M.Thenmozhi, Head of the Department/BIOTECH, welcomed the assemblage. As the chief guest, Ms. Krithigkadevi, Associate, Astrazeneca, Chennai, embraced the gathering with her perceptive views on current developments in the field of Biotechnology. She also discussed the industry standards and encouraged the students to equip themselves with the required knowledge.
The Biolumina Fest- 2024 carried out technical events like Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Quiz and non-technical events such as Petriart, Tuf War, Illusions and Treasure Hunt. The food stall was also embellished in the department for the participants. About 100 participants attended the symposium and won numerous cash awards and certificates and contributed greatly to its success.
