Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal has been conferred with the Autonomous status for the period of 10 years (2024-25 to 2033-34) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on 01.02.2024. The conferment letter was presented to Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, by Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam College of Technology, in the august presence of Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Dr.A.Natarajan, Principal and Dr.A.Jegan, Vice Principal.
Recently, Selvam College of Technology was accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which is notable. Thereby, SCT proves to be the best Autonomous Engineering College in the Namakkal City.
The Management appreciated all the staff members and students for their contribution and endeavours in accomplishing the Autonomous status.
