NCIICAIT 2k25 – A National Conference on Innovations in Information, Computing and Artificial Intelligence Technology

The Departments of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology of Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal jointly hosted the National Conference on “Innovations in Information, Computing, and Artificial Intelligence Technology (NCIICAIT 2K25)” on April 07, 2025.

Dr.S.Babu, Managing Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the ceremony. The distinguished Dignitaries Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director graced the occasion, marking their support for academic excellence and research. Dr.A.Jegan, Principal of Selvam College of Technology, delivered the Principal Address, emphasizing the institution’s dedication to fostering a research-oriented academic environment.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr.M.Mohanabharathi, Head of the Department, Information Technology.  Mrs.R.Bhuvaneswari, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering, introduced the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr.Gopinath Ganapathy, Senior Grade Professor and former  Registrar at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. In his inspiring keynote, he spoke about the influential role of Indian intellect in shaping the global IT industry. Tracing its evolution from ancient innovations to futuristic technologies, he encouraged participants to embrace creativity, pursue patents and contribute to transformative research in Science, Engineering and Technology.

The conference witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 300 research scholars, academicians and students, creating a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas. With 150 thought-provoking presentations, the event was marked as a grand success.

The conference concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr.M.Suresh, Head of the Department, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, appreciating the contributions of everyone who made the event a memorable one.
