Championship in District Junior Athletics Meet – 2026
The Namakkal District Athletics Association organised the 5th District Junior Athletics Championship on 19th & 20th September 2026. Nearly 1500 students from Namakkal district participated in the two-day athletic competition.
The students of Selvam Educational Institutions emerged as the overall champions in both Men and Women categories, winning an impressive 45 Gold, 26 Silver and 21 Bronze medals by securing 106 points in the Men’s category and 109 points in the Women’s category.
The winners were appreciated by Dr.S.Babu, Chairman, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Ms.B.Amrita, Joint Secretary, Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Dr.S.Ramabalan, Principal, Mr.A.S.Ramesh, Physical Education Director and all the staff members of the institution.
