SELVAM SCILISH-25, National Level Technical Symposium

 The Department of Science and Humanities, Selvam College of Technology organized a National Level Technical Symposium, “SELVAM SCILISH – ’25” on 17.04.2025. The event was inaugurated in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director. Dr.A.Jegan, Principal, addressed the participants. Mrs.R.Babysalini, Convenor, First year Academic coordinator and Head of the Department-Chemistry welcomed the gathering.

Er.Gokul Krish, Founder and CEO of Thinkinfo Expert Solutions, Salem was honoured as the Chief Guest. He delivered an insightful address on the applications of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the field of Engineering and motivated the students to actively participate in various events to enhance their skills and knowledge. Additionally, he explained about Cybersecurity, its growing significance and offered valuable guidance on career development in the technology domain. Participants from various colleges took part enthusiastically in a range of events. The technical events included Paper Presentations as well as Poster Presentations and non-technical events comprised Mobile Photography, Brushless Painting, Logo Designing and Short Film Making. Students showcased high levels of engagement and creativity across all events. Prizes were awarded to the winners, while certificates were distributed to all the participants.
