The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2006 with the approval of AICTE, offers undergraduate programme and postgraduate programme recognized by Anna University, Chennai. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The department has been constantly producing eminent engineers with innovative skills .The department has modernized equipments in Electrical Machines Lab, Control System Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Power Electronics and Drives Lab and Power System Simulation Lab. Being a core branch, enough care is taken that the engineers produced by the department are abreast of the emerging technologies, so as to meet today’s industrial challenges. We have been organizing many Conferences, Symposiums, Workshops, Seminars and Guest lectures to encourage the students hone their personality and extracurricular skills. Our students have brought home several laurels from national level symposiums.
