Hands-on Training in Electronic Circuit Simulation Using Proteus

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Hands-on Training on “Electronic Circuit Simulation Using Proteus” on 10.10.2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the ECE Smart Classroom I. The training featured Mrs. N. S. Elakkiya, AP/ECE, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, as the resource person. The session provided students with practical knowledge of designing, simulating, and analyzing electronic circuits using Proteus software. The resource person explained the fundamentals of circuit design, schematic creation, component selection, and the simulation process. Participants gained hands-on experience in designing electronic circuits, testing their functionality through virtual simulations, and identifying and troubleshooting circuit errors. The training also helped students understand circuit behaviour, verify design accuracy, and analyze circuit performance before implementing the circuits in hardware. Overall, the session enhanced students’ technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills in electronic circuit design and simulation.
