Biomedical Innovation to Beauty Business: Developing Organic Skincare Products

The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized an Entrepreneurship Development Programme on “Biomedical Innovation to Beauty Business: Developing Organic Skincare Products” on 10.10.2026 for III-year Biomedical Engineering students. Ms. M. Deepthi, PTL/BT, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, along with Ms. Karnika V and Ms. Monika K, IV Biotechnology students, served as the resource persons and guided students on organic skincare formulation, ingredient selection, product development, and entrepreneurial opportunities. The hands-on session enhanced students’ practical knowledge, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills while creating awareness of business opportunities in the organic skincare and personal care industry. Around 49 students benefited from the programme, gaining practical knowledge of organic skincare product development, formulation techniques, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
