From Graduate to Professional: Navigating the Biomedical Engineering Workplace

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, in association with the Biomedingers Association, organized an Alumni Talk Series webinar on “From Graduate to Professional: Navigating the Biomedical Engineering Workplace” on 10.10.2026 from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. for II and III Year Biomedical Engineering students. Er. S. Bairavan, Service Engineer, Sai Medical System, Chennai, served as the resource person and shared valuable insights into industry expectations, medical equipment servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and career opportunities. The session helped students understand workplace responsibilities, enhance their professional awareness, and prepare for careers in the biomedical engineering industry. Around 80 students benefited from the session, gaining valuable knowledge of industry requirements, professional responsibilities, and career opportunities in biomedical engineering.
