Fund Manager for a Day: Build a Mutual Fund Portfolio for a Biomedical Engineer

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, in association with the Biomedingers Association, organized a Career Building Program on “Fund Manager for a Day: Build a Mutual Fund Portfolio for a Biomedical Engineer” on 10.10.2026 for II-year Biomedical Engineering students. Ms. R. Kaviya and Mr. B. Sarvaratchagan, II MBA students of Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, served as the resource persons and guided students on mutual funds, investment strategies, portfolio management, and financial planning. The interactive session helped students understand investment risks, develop financial literacy, and gain practical insights into building a balanced investment portfolio. A total of 60 students gained valuable knowledge and practical insights from the programme.
