Awareness Programme on Beyond Borders: Transforming Careers through Global Education

The Departments of Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS), and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) of Selvam College of Technology organized an Awareness Programme on “Beyond Borders: Transforming Careers through Global Education“ on 1st August 2026 at EEE Seminar Hall.

The session was conducted from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. The resource person, Mr. Sridhar Sekar, from Sridhar Overseas Educational Consultancy, Namakkal, delivered an insightful presentation on higher education opportunities abroad. He explained the admission process, scholarship opportunities, visa requirements, and career prospects in various countries. Students gained valuable knowledge about selecting suitable universities and planning their international education journey. The speaker also addressed students’ queries and provided practical guidance for overseas studies. The programme motivated students to explore global career opportunities with confidence. Faculty members and students from IT, AI&DS, and CSE departments actively participated in the event. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the resource person for his informative and inspiring session.
