Industrial Visit to Reman Infrastructure (P) Limited, Namakkal

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, organized an Industrial Visit to REMAN INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED, Namakkal on 18.07.2026 for second-year B.E. Mechanical Engineering students. The visit was coordinated under the guidance of Mr. P. Kannan and Mr. G. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professors, Department of Mechanical Engineering. The students were warmly welcomed by the company officials and introduced to the organization’s manufacturing facilities, production processes, and industrial safety practices. They observed various fabrication processes, CNC press brake operations, drilling, welding, and sheet metal manufacturing techniques. Industry experts explained the working principles of modern machines, production planning, and quality control procedures followed in the industry. Students also gained practical exposure to industrial workflow, machine maintenance practices, and workplace safety standards. The interactive session provided an opportunity for students to clarify their technical queries with experienced professionals and understand real-time industrial applications. The visit successfully bridged the gap between classroom learning and industrial practice while enhancing the students’ technical knowledge and employability skills. Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative, enriching, and beneficial for the students’ professional development. A total of 75 students benefited from the programme.
