Hands-on Training on Modern User Interface Design Principles

The Department of Management Studies, Selvam College of Technology, organized a Hands-on Training Program on “Modern User Interface Design Principles” on 18.07.2026 at the II MBA Lab. The training session was conducted by Mr. S. Yoga Harikaran, B.E., Founder & CEO, Way2me, Namakkal. The resource person provided practical insights into contemporary UI design concepts, focusing on user-centered design, visual hierarchy, usability, accessibility, responsive interfaces, and emerging design trends. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, students gained valuable exposure to designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications. The session enhanced participants’ understanding of industry-relevant design practices and strengthened their digital design competencies. The program was highly informative and beneficial, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world UI design applications.
