ASTA-2K24, National Level Technical Symposium
The Department of Computer Science Engineering & Information Technology CETA Association, Selvam College of Technology organized the ASTA-2K24, National Level Technical Symposium on 05.04.2024 in EEE Seminar hall. Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The Symposium was conducted in the august presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, and Dr. A. Jegan, Principal of SCT. Prof.R.Bhuvaneswari, Head of the Department/CSE, welcomed the gathering. Dr.C.Selvi, Associate Professor Grade II, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam, Kerala honoured the occasion as the chief guest with her insightful remarks on current trends in the field and also showered her thoughts on Applications of Programming knowledge in workplace.
Technical events such as Paper Plunder (Paper Presentation), Plot Bestowal (Project Presentation), Code Amending (Code Debugging), Logo Genesis (Logo Creation) and Non-Technical events like Memorathon (Keep in mind), Marketing Mischief (Marketing) and Movie Mania (Short film) were conducted. Various engineering and technology college students took part in the symposium with great enthusiasm and gained a lot of knowledge. The participants also earned cash prizes and certificates. This Symposium was beneficial for around 300 participants. At the end of the event, Mr.M.Suresh, Head of the Department/AI&DS rendered the words of gratitude. The Heads of all the departments, faculty members and students gave their gracious presence in the ceremony.
