Value Added Course on “Rational Drug Design”

The Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organised a value-added course on “Rational Drug Design” for the Third Year Biotechnology students, on February 22, 2025 in the ISDTP Seminar Hall. The programme was inaugurated in the august presence of Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director.
Dr. A. Jegan, Principal addressed the students. Dr.M.Thenmozhi, Head of the Department, welcomed the gathering. Dr.P.T.Prathima, Senior Scientist, ICAR-Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as a resource person and delivered a lecture on protein modelling and other computational. A total of 58 students participated in the program and were awarded with Certificates of Participation during the valedictory function.
