Seminar on Unlock Your Potential with NPTEL and SWAYAM Courses

The Department of Information Technology organized a seminar on “Unlock Your Potential with NPTEL and SWAYAM Courses” on 01.08.2026 for the students of II IT. The seminar was conducted to create awareness about the importance of online learning platforms and encourage students to utilize NPTEL and SWAYAM courses to enhance their technical knowledge, academic performance, and career prospects. The session emphasized the role of continuous learning in developing industry-relevant skills and improving employability in today’s competitive job market.

The seminar provided detailed information about the features, registration process, certification procedure, examination pattern, and credit transfer opportunities available through NPTEL and SWAYAM. The resource person explained how students can choose courses offered by IITs, IISc, and other premier institutions in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Programming, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Soft Skills, and Emerging Technologies. Students also received guidance on selecting appropriate certification courses based on their career goals, preparing effectively for online examinations, and utilizing these certifications to strengthen their resumes, improve placement opportunities, and pursue higher education. The interactive session motivated students to adopt self-paced learning, actively participate in online certification programmes, and continuously upgrade their skills to meet industry expectations.
