Applications are invited for the following post at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal- 637 003, Tamilnadu, India, in a DST, Govt. of India funded project entitled “Thermal Management of Heat Sinks using Advanced Aluminium Boron Nitride Composite Materials”.
Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01
Fellowship: Rs.16, 000.00 per month for first two years and Rs.18, 000 .00 per month for third year.
Essential qualification: Bachelor Degree in MECH/PROD/AUTO/AERO/Metallurgy & Master’s degree in Manufacturing/ ED/ Metallurgy/ PROD/ with strong academic record (with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate).
Desirable: Experience in material characterization & testing and good in research paper/proposal writing are desirable.
The project duration is for three years and purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing rules of the DST and Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal. The appointment shall be co-terminus with the duration of project. The appointments shall be initially for a period of one year, renewable every year depending on the performance of project fellow.
