Industrial Visit at Essvee Wires India Private Limited, Salem

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Industrial Visit for the second- and third-year EEE students on 22.08.2026 to Essvee Wires India Private Limited, Salem, as part of the academic curriculum. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to industrial manufacturing processes, electrical wire and cable production, quality control procedures, and modern industrial practices followed in the electrical manufacturing sector.

During the industrial visit, the students gained valuable insights into the various stages involved in the manufacturing of electrical wires and cables. The industry representatives explained the functioning of different machinery and equipment used in the production process and highlighted the importance of maintaining precision, safety, and quality standards at every stage of manufacturing. The visit provided the students with meaningful industrial exposure and enhanced their understanding of practical applications of Electrical and Electronics Engineering concepts in the wire and cable manufacturing industry.
