Seminar and Hands on Session on Intelligent Embedded Systems for Smart Applications

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized a “Seminar and Hands-on Session on Intelligent Embedded Systems for Smart Applications” on 04.07.2026 in the EEE Seminar Hall. Dr.S.Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology. 

Dr.S.Ramabalan, Principal addressed the students. Mr.M.Ravichandran, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The technical session was handled by Mr.Amarnath Karthik, Director, Embuzz Technologies, Coimbatore. During the seminar, he delivered an insightful presentation on the latest advancements in intelligent embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), sensor interfacing, real-time applications, and smart automation technologies. He emphasized how embedded systems play a significant role in developing innovative solutions for smart homes, industrial automation, healthcare, agriculture, and smart city applications. As part of the programme, an interactive hands-on training session was conducted, enabling students to gain practical exposure to embedded system development using modern hardware platforms and software tools. The students of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department had a productive and enriching experience during the session. Everyone actively participated in the hands-on session and enhanced their skills.
