Circuit Engineering: From Concept to Creation

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a co-curricular activity on “Circuit Engineering: From Concept to Creation” on 04.07.2026 for II-year ECE students and was delivered by the resource person Mr. M. Tamilvanan, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Selvam College of Technology. The activity focused on strengthening students’ understanding of electronic circuit design by connecting theoretical concepts with practical implementation. The resource person explained the fundamentals of circuit analysis, component selection, schematic design, PCB considerations, testing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. The session also highlighted industry-oriented design practices and encouraged students to develop innovative electronic solutions. The programme enhanced students’ knowledge of electronic circuit design, improved their problem-solving abilities, and motivated them to apply engineering principles in developing real-world electronic systems.
