Seminar on Guidelines for Developing a Project Using AI Tools
The Department of Information Technology organized a Seminar on “Guidelines for Developing a Project Using AI Tools” on 04.07.2026 for IV Information Technology students. The seminar provided students with comprehensive guidance on planning, designing, and developing academic projects by effectively utilizing artificial intelligence tools. The resource person explained how AI-based platforms can assist in problem identification, literature review, requirement analysis, project planning, coding support, debugging, documentation, testing, and presentation preparation. Students gained practical insights into selecting appropriate AI tools, using them ethically, validating AI-generated content, and integrating AI technologies to improve project quality and productivity. The seminar also emphasized the importance of originality, critical thinking, and responsible use of AI in project development while highlighting best practices for preparing innovative and industry-relevant projects. The programme motivated students to leverage AI technologies effectively to enhance their technical skills, creativity, and research capabilities. Nearly 54 students actively participated in the seminar, making it an informative and enriching session that strengthened their understanding of AI-assisted project development and its relevance to their academic and professional growth.
