CETA Association Inaugural function – 2024 & MoU with Lets GameTech, Coimbatore
Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal and Lets GameTech, Coimbatore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enrich the curriculum. The MoU aims to provide Hands-on training, internship opportunities, drive innovation, research, and skill development for student community. After the signing ceremony, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Selvam College of Technology has inaugurated the CETA Association for the academic year 2024 – 2025 and organized a one-day Workshop on the topic “3D Game programming using Unity and C#”. The workshop was held on 27th September, 2024 at the PG-CSE laboratory.
Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chariman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director of Selvam College of Technology.
Dr.A.Jegan, Principal, Selvam College of Technology addressed the gathering. Mrs.R.Bhuvaneswari, Head, Department of CSE, welcomed the gathering. Er.Keerthana Murugesan, Managing Director, Lets GameTech, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest and inspired the students to develop game programs with Unity Software. The students were encouraged to do more innovative game projects and they were enlightened with the career opportunities in the game development field through this workshop. The Computer Science and Engineering students and faculty members attended the session and gained valuable knowledge.
