Rules:

General Rules:

• Participants must register on the website on or before 13th February, 2015.
• All participants should bring their college id card.
• Accommodation will be provided based request (Contact: V.Kumarakrishan 96003 29100).
• Lunch will be provided for all participants. Good hospitality is our forte.
• The participants must be neatly dressed in formal with shoes ( no jeans/ t-shirts please).
• Gents should be well groomed & neatly shaved.

For Paper Presentation:

Topics:

• Recent trends in Power Systems
• Recent trends in Power Electronics
• Advances in Electrical Drives
• Non-Conventional Energy Sources
• Embedded Systems
• HVDC/FACTS
• Image Processing

Rules:

• Two authors per paper and Paper should be in IEEE format(Max. 5 pages)
• Maximum slides per presentation should be 20
• presentation time is limited to 5 mins

Note : Only 2  members per team

For Project Presentation:

• The participant should bring their own kit to exhibit in project Presentation.
• Judgement will be based on your topic and the way you present it.
• Each participant will be given participation certificate.
• Event participants should send their abstract on or before 13th Feb,2015.
• The abstracts must be typed in IEEE format, times new roman with a font size 12 and line spacing 1.5.

For Technical Quiz:

Tech Quiz will test your technical and lateral thinking ability. Be prepared to face questions from every nook and corner of Electrical Engineering. Get ready, be prepared and give this test your best shot.

The event details are as follows

REGISTRATION FEE: RS.125 per head

Team consists of 2 participants

NOTE: Winners will be given a Merit certificate.

For Circuit Debugging:

Circuit Debugging contains two rounds

SELECTION ROUND:-

• Maximum two participants per team.
• Preliminary level consists of technical test.

 FINAL ROUND:-

• The teams which are qualified in a preliminary level only allowed for final round.
• Circuit will be given on the spot.
• 15 Minutes for spotting the bug.
