Workshop on “SCADA System Design and Implementation”
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized the One Day Workshop on SCADA System Design and Implementation on 09.11.2024, Saturday in the CLIP Laboratory. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology.
Dr.A.Jegan, Principal addressed the students. Mr.M.Ravichandran, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The Resource Person, Er. K. Ilanchezhian, Manager – Technical, Shree Technologies, Coimbatore, highlighted the SCADA software, Applications of SCADA software, Different packages available with I/O structure, Features of SCADA software, creating a new SCADA application, Creating Database of Tags, Creating & Editing graphic display with animation and also provide the Hands on experience in SCADA software. The students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department had a productive and enriching experience during the session. Everyone actively participated in the workshop and enhanced their skills.
