Workshop on The Secret Life of VLSI & Embedded Systems

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a workshop titled “The Secret Life of VLSI & Embedded Systems” on 26 September 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the ECE DSP Laboratory. The workshop featured two resource persons from PUMO Technovation India Private Limited, Coimbatore: Mr. S. Aravind Kumar, Senior Embedded Software Engineer, and Ms. T. Sathiya Priya, VLSI Designer, from PUMO Technovation India Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, The workshop provided students with an understanding of VLSI design and embedded systems and their importance in modern electronic applications. It offered valuable industry-oriented insights into VLSI and embedded technologies. Students gained awareness of the practical applications of these technologies in electronic systems. The interaction with industry professionals helped students understand career opportunities in these fields. The workshop enhanced students’ knowledge and connected academic learning with industrial practices. Overall, the programme broadened students’ understanding of VLSI design and embedded systems.
