Hands-on Training on The Magic of DNA Amplification

The Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organized a Hands-on Training on “The Magic of DNA Amplification” for III B.Tech Biotechnology students during the afternoon session on 10.10.2026. Ms. R. Shubashree and Ms. V. Bhavadharani, III B.Tech Biotechnology students, served as the resource persons.

The training provided students with practical insights into the principles and applications of DNA amplification using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). The session enhanced their understanding of PCR procedures, reagent preparation, and the importance of DNA amplification in molecular biology and biotechnology research. The students actively participated and gained valuable practical knowledge.
