The Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organized a “Smart Money Moves: A Guide to Better Investments” session for III and IV B.Tech Biotechnology students during the forenoon session on 10.10.2026. Mr. K. Praveenkumar and Ms. S. Ramya, II MBA students, served as the resource persons.
The session created awareness among students about mutual funds and various investment options. It provided valuable insights into financial planning, risk assessment, savings, and informed investment decisions. The students actively participated and gained knowledge of financial literacy and responsible money management.
