Hands-on Training on Basic Biomedical Measurements and Instrumentation

The Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organized a Hands-on Training on “Basic Biomedical Measurements and Instrumentation” on 10.10.2026 for II B.Tech Biotechnology students. Ms. S. Nandhini, PTL/Biomedical Engineering, served as the resource person.

The training provided students with practical insights into basic biomedical measurements, the operation of biomedical instruments, and the measurement of physiological parameters such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and body temperature. The students actively participated and gained valuable practical knowledge of biomedical instrumentation and its applications in healthcare.
