Hands-on Training on Solar PV Systems to Power Grid: Generation, Inverters, and Interconnection

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Hands-on Training on “Solar PV Systems to Power Grid: Generation, Inverters, and Interconnection” on 08.08.2026 at 10:00 a.m. for III-Year B.E. ECE students at the ECE Smart Classroom II. The session was handled by Dr. M. Vinoth, Associate Professor & Research Associate, Department of EEE, Selvam College of Technology, as the Resource Person. The training focused on Solar PV power generation, inverter systems, and grid interconnection. The session provided students with practical exposure to the integration of solar photovoltaic systems with the electrical grid and enhanced their understanding of renewable energy-based power systems. The hands-on approach helped students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in solar power generation and grid-connected systems.
