Seltronix Association Inaugural Function and Seminar on AI+IoT(AIoT): The Next Generation of Smart Solutions

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the SELTRONIX Association Inaugural Function and a seminar on “AI + IoT (AIoT): The Next Generation of Smart Solutions” on 01.08.2026 for the II, III, and IV-Year ECE students. The resource person for the programme was Mr. K. Iniyan, Technical Lead & Corporate Trainer, SDLC, Coimbatore. The programme was conducted to introduce students to the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) and its impact on the development of intelligent and connected systems. The session emphasized the significance of AIoT in transforming industries through smart automation, real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making across domains such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and smart cities. The session provided valuable insights into emerging career opportunities, industry expectations, and the skills required in AI, embedded systems, IoT, machine learning, and data analytics.
