Innovation Ideas Sharing Session on Hackathons and Competitions
The Department of Civil Engineering, STORM Association, Selvam College of Technology, organized a No Book Day session on “Innovation Ideas Sharing Session on Hackathons & Competitions” on 10.10.2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Library. The programme aimed to encourage students to develop innovative ideas, enhance creative thinking, and understand the importance of participating in hackathons and technical competitions. Dr. K. Vidhyavathi, Dean (Consultancy Activities), Selvam College of Technology, served as the Resource Person and shared valuable insights into idea generation, problem-solving approaches, teamwork, and presenting innovative solutions. The session motivated students to explore interdisciplinary challenges, transform ideas into practical solutions, and actively participate in innovation-driven activities.
