The Department of Biotechnology organized the inauguration of its association Biosel for the academic year 2022-23 on 27.08.2022 in Mechanical Seminar Hall in the presence of Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, Dr.A.Natarajan, Principal of Selvam College of Technology & Mr.M.Karthik, Administrative Manager, Selvam College of Technology. The Head of the Department, Dr. M.Thenmozhi welcomed the gathering. Dr.A.Natarajan delivered the Principal address. Dr.S.Vijayakumar, Research Coordinator, VJ Biotech, Coimbatore graced the occasion as the chief guest with his presence and gave an expert talk in the area of herbal medicine and food. Student Clubs namely News Hunt club, GATE/TANCET & Current Affairs clubs were introduced to the II year students. New Office bearers for the Biosel association were inducted.Internship certificates were distributed to the students. All the students of the department utilized the session well.
