Hostel Day Celebration – 2024
Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, celebrated the Hostel Day on 04.05.2024, in the august presence of Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions & Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies, Mrs.Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director and Dr.A.Jegan, Principal.
Many sports competitions were organized for all the hostel students which includes Cricket, Foot Ball, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton and Athletic Relay for the male students, along with Tennikoit, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton and Athletic Relay for the female students. The winners and runners of all the events were appreciated and awarded with the prizes and certificates by the Dignitaries. Additionally, the chief wardens and residential wardens were appreciated and awarded with gifts for their dedication & unwavering support in administering the hostel community.
The celebration continued with the cultural events, organized by the Dazzling Dudes Club and all the hostellers enthusiastically participated in the events such as Dance, Singing, Mimicry, Stand-up Comedy etc. At the end of the ceremony, special & delicious dinner was provided to all the staff members and students. The Heads of all the Departments, Coordinators, Staff members and the students gave their memorable presence in the ceremony.
