Engineers Day 2019 Celebrations.

Career Development Cell of Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized ENGINEERS DAY CELEBRATION on 16.09.2019(Monday) for ALL ENGINEERING students on our campus. The function was presided by Dr. P.Selvaraj, Chairman of the Selvam group of institutions, Trustee Mrs. Jayam Selvaraj, Vice Chairman Dr. S. Babu and Secretary Dr. Kaviethra Nandhini Babu. Principal Dr. A.Natarajan , Dean-Academic Dr.P.Manimekalai welcomed the gathering. More than 500 students have participated in the program which was held for engineer’s day celebration such as poster presentation and project contest. Over 150 students won their first, second and third positions. In this regard to appreciate those budding engineers and enlight them with positive spark speech about engineers and current criteria of the engineering field, engineer’s day celebration program has been organized. In Chief Guest address Mr.M.Srinivasan, adept engineering solutions Pvt ltd.., Namakkal motivated the students by saying “ENGINEERING IS ABOUT DOING” and should keep on doing their projects to keep learning and should try to grasp knowledge in all fields not only in your own stream. It motivated the students in a very good manner and enhanced the student’s minds about today’s industry’s expectation.   Finally, Mr.N.Prasannan Head-CDC proposed the Vote of Thanks.
