Chithirai Kani Celebration – 2024

Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal celebrated the “Tamil New Year-2024” on 13.04.2023, Saturday. The New Year was welcomed and celebrated with the special Pooja by offering prayers and seeking the blessings of all the Gods and Goddesses. The cornerstone of the celebration is the ritual of “Chithirai Kani”, symbolizing the hope for prosperity and good fortune in the New Year. The propitious rituals were done in the august presence of the Chairman, the Trustee, the Secretary, the Executive Director and the Principal. All the Heads of various Departments, Coordinators, Staff members and the students gave their memorable presence in this auspicious occasion.
