Hands on Training on Build a Responsive Portfolio website using HTML and CSS

The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a Career Building Programme on “Hands-on Training on Build a Responsive Portfolio Website Using HTML & CSS” on 19.09.2026 for II Year Biomedical Engineering students. The programme was designed to enhance students’ web development skills and provide practical exposure to the fundamentals of creating responsive and user-friendly portfolio websites using HTML and CSS. Ms.S. Pushpa, AP/CSE, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, served as the resource person and guided the students through the practical aspects of webpage structure, HTML elements, CSS styling, responsive design principles, and portfolio development. The hands-on training enabled students to design and develop their own responsive portfolio webpages and understand the importance of effective web presentation and digital profiles. Around 60 students strengthened their technical, creative, problem-solving, and web development skills, thereby enhancing their digital competencies and career readiness.
