Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Modern Cyber Security
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the CETA Association organized a Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Modern Cyber Security” on 01.08.2026 for III-year CSE students. The resource person Ms.S.Saranya, Assistant Professor, Selvam College of Technology. It highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence in modern cyber security, emphasizing the role of AI in detecting, preventing, and responding to evolving cyber threats. The session covered the fundamentals of AI-driven security, machine learning techniques for threat detection, anomaly identification, malware analysis, phishing prevention, and the application of intelligent systems in Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The workshop enhanced the participants’ understanding of AI-enabled cyber defense mechanisms, strengthened their practical knowledge of intelligent security solutions, and equipped them with the skills required to address modern cyber security challenges. The programme also prepared participants for internships, higher education, industry certifications, and career opportunities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security.
