57th Engineer’s Day Celebration – 2024
Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized “57th Engineer’s Day Celebration – 2024” on 14.09.2024 in EEE Seminar Hall. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function in the august presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology. Dr.A.Jegan, Principal, addressed and motivated the students with his insights.
Dr. G. Selvaraj, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Er.Vijay Varutharajan, Senior Lead Engineer, Collins Aerospace, BSF Campus, Bengaluru, was the chief guest of this celebration and he gave a speech on “How to face the future challenges in Engineering and AI”.
Followed by the inaugural function, various technical events such as Project presentation, Poster presentation, Circuit debugging Technical quiz, Code debugging, Building planning were conducted to all the students. All the Dignitaries, the HoDs and faculty members encouraged the participants and appreciated them with cash prize and certificates. Mr.M.Ravichandran, Head of the Department, EEE delivered the vote of thanks. More than 800 students participated and gave their memorable presence in this program.
