Teachers’ Day Celebration

Selvam College of Technology organized Teachers’ Day Celebration on 05.09.2026 to honour and appreciate the dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions of faculty members towards the academic and personal development of students.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. Ms. S. Ramya, II/MBA, delivered the welcome address and extended her greetings to all the dignitaries and faculty members gathered for the celebration.

Dr. S. Babu, Chairman, Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the inaugural function in the esteemed presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director. Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal, addressed the gathering and conveyed his greetings to the faculty members on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. He highlighted the significant role of teachers in shaping the future of students and society.

As a part of the celebration, various fun and recreational activities were conducted exclusively for the faculty members. The activities provided an opportunity for the faculty to participate enthusiastically, interact with one another, and enjoy a refreshing and memorable celebration beyond their regular academic responsibilities.

As a token of appreciation and affection, a token-of-love gift was presented to all the faculty members in recognition of their valuable contributions and dedicated service to the institution.

The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. R. Kawya, II/MBA, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the dignitaries, Principal, faculty members, organizers, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

The Teacher’s Day Celebration was a joyful and memorable occasion that fostered team spirit, camaraderie, appreciation, and a sense of belonging among the faculty members.
