A National Level Technical Symposium and Project Contest – BEETRONIX 2K26
The Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, jointly organized the National Level Technical Symposium and Project Contest “BEETRONIX-2K26” on 12.09.2026, at the Mechanical Seminar Hall. The event was organised under the associations BIO MEDINGERS, SELTRONIX and SPARK.
Dr. S. Babu, Chairman, Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology.
Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal, addressed the gathering. Mr. M. Ravichandran, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Vidyavathi, Dean-Academics, delivered the inaugural address. The Chief Guest, Mr. S. Sathishkumar, Founder & CEO, AI/ML Product Developer & Solution Architect, Imagecon India, Salem, graced the occasion and delivered the Chief Guest address. His expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, product development, and solution architecture provided valuable insights to the students and participants.
The programme featured a series of technical activities such as Paper Presentations, Project Presentations, Connections, Short Film contest, and Technical Quiz, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their technical knowledge, innovative ideas and project skills. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. N. S. Elakkiya, HoD/ECE, Selvam College of Technology. Around 450 participants from various engineering colleges participated enthusiastically in the symposium, contributing to its grand success. Winners were awarded attractive prizes, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.
