Pongal 2023 Celebrations.
Women Empowerment Cell, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized the Pongal Celebration – 2023 on 13.01.2023. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions & Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies and Mrs.Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions inaugurated the celebration in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary cum ISDTP-Super Head, Dr.A.Natarajan, Principal and Mr.M.Karthik, Administrative Manager cum ISDTP-Head.
The special Pongal Pooja was conducted and delicious Pongal dish was prepared and it was distributed to all the employees and students. The celebration continued with the cultural events of students and traditional games and competition were conducted for both staff and students such as Rangoli, Tug of War, Pot Breaking, Lucky corner etc. All the staff members and students enthusiastically participated in it and the winners were appreciated with various prizes. All the Heads of various Departments, Academic Coordinators, Staff members and the Students presented themselves in the ethnic wear and gave their memorable presence in this auspicious occasion.
