Hands on Training on Plant Tissue Culture Techniques

The Department of Biotechnology organized a technical event titled “Hands-on Training on Plant Tissue Culture Techniques” on 11.07.2026 at the Biotechnology Laboratory. The session was conducted by Ms. D. Menaga, Lab Assistant, Department of Biotechnology, Selvam College of Technology. The event aimed to provide practical exposure to plant tissue culture techniques. Students performed media preparation, sterilization, and inoculation under aseptic conditions. A total of 49 students actively participated and benefited from the training programme. The programme enhanced students’ practical skills and interest in plant biotechnology.
