SCT HR Colloquium’15.

Our Career Development Cell Organized a wonderful event “SCT HR Colloquium’15” a National Level Summit on Recruitment Trends on 12th September 2015 for the young students of all Engineering Discipline. The Colloquium was organized with the aim of making the youth realize the importance of career so that they can change their future and help in nation building. The function started with a Prayer Song by the blessings of God.

More than 1500 students from various departments participated in this Program. 10 most valuable Professional Speakers from Various Multi-National Companies have handled 8 Sessions at various Halls in our campus. In the inauguration function Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman, Selvam College of Technology, presided over the function, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Selvam College of Technology Felicitated the gathering. The Principal Dr. R. Prabhu Delivered the Principal Address and Mr. N. Prasannan Head – Career Development Cell delivered Welcome Address.

Dr.P.Pradeep Desai, Former Director-Royal Philips, Mr.A.Rajan Babu General Manager HR Nsk Abc Bearings Ltd & delivered the keynote address in the Inauguration function.

The theme of the Event was focusing on Recruitment Trends, Industrial Expectations, Current IT Trends, Making Professional Powerful and Interview Skills for Employment. The event created knowledge and awareness to the young students and enhanced the self-confidence for their career.
