Hands-on Training on IIoT Essentials: From Sensor to Cloud

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Co-Curricular Activity on “Hands-on Training on IIoT Essentials: From Sensor to Cloud” on 18.07.2026 for III-Year & IV-Year ECE students. The session was handled by Dr.D.Manivannan, Founder and Director, NWarehouse Private Limited, Trichy, as the resource person. The session introduced participants to the fundamentals and implementation of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). It covered sensor interfacing, microcontroller programming, cloud connectivity, and real-time industrial monitoring through hands-on activities. Participants gained practical experience in developing IIoT-based applications and enhanced their understanding of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts.
