FDP on Microsoft Azure AI Apps & Agent Developer

Selvam College of Technology (Autonomous), Namakkal, in association with the ICT Academy (ICTACT), organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Microsoft Azure AI Apps & Agent Developer” from 10th to 14th August 2026. Faculty members from various colleges participated in the event.

The programme focused on Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Azure, Generative AI, AI-powered applications, and intelligent agent development, emphasizing the enhancement of faculty expertise in emerging technologies.

The inaugural function was presided over by Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions. Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, graced the occasion, while Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal, highlighted the importance of continuous faculty development.

The technical sessions were led by Mr. Mohammed Raheel, Principal AI Engineer and Lead Backend Architect from Hyderabad, who provided hands-on exposure to Azure AI applications and intelligent agent development.

Dr.V.Sathya, Professor-cum-Dean (Accreditation), served as the Programme Coordinator, and Dr. A. Jayaseelan, Placement Officer, co-coordinated the event. The FDP aimed to strengthen faculty skills and promote AI integration in teaching, research, and innovation.
