Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal conducted 13th Graduation day on 03.12.2023 (Sunday). College Founder and Chairman Dr.P.Selvaraj presided over the function. Mrs.Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee, Dr.S.Babu, Vice Chairman, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretatry cum ISDTP Superhead, Mr.M.Karthik, Administrative Manager cum ISDTP Head, Dr.A.Natarajan, Principal, congratulated all the graduates.
The Chief Guest for the graduation day, Dr.V.Rajendran, Vice Chancellor, AMET University, Chennai delivered the graduation day address and distributed the degree certificates to all the graduates.
In his chief guest address, the Vice Chancellor said that the Graduation day is important for every individual student for their career and life. The future career depends on artificial intelligence and Data Sciences, Data Analytics and machine learning. Engineers should focus on new innovations and develop future based knowledge.
The Chief Guest encouraged the Students to bring out their ideas and talents to develop their entrepreneurship skills. Students should start their own enterprises by their hard work, simplicity, integrity and develop their self confidence and work abilities.
Then he wished all the graduates on this function. Totally 331 UG and 24 PG candidates received their degrees during the ceremony. All the department HODs, faculty members and parents of the graduates participated in the function.
