Tamil Nadu Government Free Laptop Distribution Programme

The Government of Tamil Nadu provided free laptops to eligible students at Selvam College of Technology (Autonomous), Namakkal, as part of its educational welfare scheme. The laptop distribution programme was organized on the college campus to support students’ academic learning and enhance digital literacy.

The programme was conducted in the august presence of Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Group of Institutions & Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies, Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, and Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal.

During the programme, laptops were distributed to eligible students to facilitate online learning, project work, and technical skill development. The dignitaries highlighted the importance of utilizing digital resources effectively for academic excellence and career advancement. The initiative benefited a large number of students and reinforced the Tamil Nadu Government’s commitment to promoting technology-enabled education.
