Inauguration of Student association – BIOSEL.

The inauguration of Student association – BIOSEL of the Department of Biotechnology was held on 15th July 2015 at 10.00 AM in Mechanical Seminar Hall. Welcome address was given by Mrs. N. Sharmila Devi, HOD, Department of Biotechnology. The function was held in a grand manner in the auspicious presence of the honorable Chairman Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman, Selvam Educational Institutions. The BIOSEL association was inaugurated by Dr. Charles John Baskar, Chief Scientist / Managing Director, GeoMarine Bio-technologies and he delivered special lecture about Career opportunities in Biotechnology to students. The felicitation address was given by Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman, Selvam Educational Institutions. Dr. R. Prabhu, Principal of our college delivered the principal address. BIOSEL Association logo was released on that auspicious day. Bio-modelling and Quiz Competition were conducted and the students were appreciated with prizes.
