The Below mentioned Refund Rules apply for all the courses governed by Selvam college of Technology, Tamil Nadu.

 Tuition Fee/Other Fee

  • If a student withdraws / cancels admission within 10 days of admission confirmation, all deposited fee will be refunded after deducting an amount of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five Thousand Only).
  • If a student withdraws / cancels admission between 10 to 20 days of admission confirmation, all deposited fee will be refunded after deducting an amount of Rs. 10000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only).
  • If a student withdraws / cancels admission before one week of commencement of classes, all deposited fee will be refunded after deducting an amount of Rs. 20000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand only).
  • For admission in II-Year (Lateral entry),If a student withdraws / cancels admission before one week of last date of admission as declared by Anna university all deposited fee will be refunded after deducting an amount of Rs. 25000/- (Rs. Twenty five Thousand only).
  • If a student withdraws admission after last date of admission no fee will be refunded.
  • Caution money is refundable subjected to submission of annual course fee and no dues certificate.
  • If a student withdraws admission in subsequent semester no fee will be refunded.
  • The above refund rules will also be applicable to a student who is expelled from the college on the basis of disciplinary grounds.

 Accommodation / Hostel Charges

  • If a student withdraws before the commencement of classes the hostel fee will be refunded after deduction of hostel charges @ Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five Thousand only).
  • No fee will be refunded if the student has once occupied the hostel.

 Transportation / Bus Charges

  • No Deduction will be made if the student withdraws/leave the transport facility before the commencement of classes.(For II/III/IV Year Students)
  • Transport fee will not be refunded if a student withdraws after commencement of classes.

 General Information

  •  Commencement of Classes: The date of commencement of classes is widely displayed on college notice boards and college website. All Admitted students are required to regularly check website for updates. For, BE, B.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A. & M.E. courses, commencement date is mostly 1st August 2015.
  • For all delayed payments late fine can be charged from the schedule date of depositing the fee. (Displayed on all college Notice boards)
  • Disclaimer: The College reserves its right to make any modification, alteration, addition or deletion of anything contained in the existing rules including the curriculum. The legal jurisdiction of the college shall be Namakkal only.
